“Every bracelet comes with a wood saint bracelet to give away. It’s a feeling of giving hope.”
My parents gave me a simple wooden saint bracelet from Israel, which I took to wearing every day. This started a trend in my family- collecting saint bracelets and wearing them. It was something humbling and I did without any intention until one day I was in line at a store and a woman commented on the bracelet. It seemed to call to her so I gave it to her as a gift (with my mom in my ear telling me to stop giving things away).
I bought a few more bracelets, and when someone asked about the bracelet to me it meant that person needed it. I have many stories. I was on a plane with my parents and my father was wearing a wood saint bracelet. I heard the woman next to him comment on the bracelet. This left me three hours contemplating what to do- I had made a promise to give the bracelets away, but I did not have any extra ones on me. What to do? At the end I decided I was going to keep my promise, took it off my wrist and gave it to the woman. She was making the trip to visit her cousin for the last time.
I always enjoyed making jewelry, but I wanted the element of charity involved, too and have others enjoy giving a saint bracelet away. Every bracelet comes with a saint bracelet for you to keep or give away when the time it right. These bracelets are limited quantities and made in the USA. More are planned and if you have a charity that you think would be a fit, then please contact me.
Our future bracelets….Our Lady of Fatima, Jesus, Holy Family, Saint Francis and Saint James.
